Job Description
Our client is the Irish division of a multinational financial services firm. They are seeking a Head of Finance to take on a senior leadership role within the business. This is a PCF 11 role that will hold responsibility for all aspects of financial management operations. The role is based in South County Dublin and is offered on a hybrid basis.
Main Responsibilities:
Take full ownership of finance related projects
Build effective working relationships across the commercial and finance teams
Assist in the processes of financial budgets and forecasts
Oversee the preparation of financial reporting
Work with the executive team on long-term financial and business planning
Oversee departments involved in the purchase, pricing, investments, debt management and accounts payable and receivable
Provide leadership and guidance to the finance and accounting team
Work with senior managers to efficiently develop budget proposals, provide access to project finance information, and ensure contract compliance and reporting
Research revenue opportunities and economic trends, analyse internal operations, and identify areas for cost reduction and process enhancement
Perform risk management through analysis of company liabilities and investments, and evaluate and manage capital structure and fundraising initiatives
Monitor business performance with tracking tools, establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports for the senior leadership team and rest of company
Requirements:
Qualified ACCA/ACA or equivalent
Minimum 8 years experience within financial services
Experience working in listed international groups – multi-entity, multi-country, multi-currency highly regarded
Understanding of advanced accounting, regulatory issues, and tax planning
Strong leadership and communication skills
