Head of HR

Our client, a leading financial services firm is seeking an experienced Head of HR to lead and deliver its HR strategy. This is a pivotal leadership role reporting to the CEO, with significant influence over organisational structure and people strategy.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership to align HR with business priorities, while embedding regulatory compliance, fostering a high-performance culture and building operational HR excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and evolve the HR strategy to align with corporate goals.

• Partner with senior leaders to design and refine agile organisational structures.

• Provide strategic support on workforce planning, talent development and succession planning.

• Lead and mentor a small HR team covering ER, conduct risk, performance and policy.

• Enhance HR systems, processes and reporting to meet regulatory and operational standards.

• Lead all regulatory reporting, certification and HR-related compliance controls.

• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance and Executive teams to ensure adherence to conduct rules and governance.

• Partner globally on talent acquisition and employee development initiatives.

• Promote a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture that supports high performance and innovation.

• Drive DEI initiatives and support employee engagement across the firm.

Your Profile

• 6+ years in a senior HR leadership role in financial services or asset management.

• In-depth knowledge of Irish regulatory frameworks and employment law.

• Experience developing HR strategies.

• Strong interpersonal, influencing and stakeholder management skills.

• Proven track record in performance management, workforce planning, and HR operations.

• Professional HR qualification (CIPD/SHRM or equivalent).
