Java Developer

Our client is a fast growing success story in the financial services sector. Reporting into the IT Development Manager and working closely with the principal architect in a mentorship setting you will be a Java Developer with a broad understanding of large consumer facing web applications.

You Will:

• Work as part of a team

• Deliver IT solutions

• Work on cutting-edge technology across API, cloud and application development.

• Enhance and maintain existing web-enabled and custom applications.

• Collaborate with IT and business teams

• Provide task analysis and technical insight to help develop and deliver key solutions.

• Have access to learning tools, training programs and further education to progress your career.

Needed:

• Minimum 4 years core Java

• Minimum 4 years development experience

• SQL

• Git or other version control

• Spring / Spring Boot

• Web services / Microservices

• Unit /Integration Test

• Junit

• Experience working within an Agile environment

• Excellent communicator with strong oral/writing/organisational skills.

Not Required, Nice to Have:

• Other programming languages: C#, C, Python, PHP, R

• Cloud services: AWS, Azure, GCP etc.

• API testing tools: Postman, SoapUI, JMeter etc.

• Containerization tools: Docker, Kubernetes

• 3rd Party Integration into CRM

• Front end: Angular, JavaScript, HTML
