Job Description
Our client is seeking to recruit a Paraplanner to support their growing Wealth Management team. In this role, you will work closely with Private Client Advisers to prepare comprehensive financial plans tailored to individual client needs.
The position involves analysing client information, researching financial strategies, producing detailed suitability reports, and contributing to the ongoing review of client portfolios. You will also support client meeting preparation, attend meetings when required, and ensure high standards of technical accuracy across all advice provided. This is a key support role requiring strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
Responsibilities
Work alongside Private Client Advisers to gather and evaluate client data, identifying planning needs and opportunities.
Prepare high-quality financial planning reports and technical documentation.
Conduct research on pensions, investments, protection, and tax planning strategies across the Irish market.
Support the preparation for client meetings and attend when appropriate.
Monitor and review client financial plans regularly, adjusting for changes in legislation, personal circumstances, or market conditions.
Keep up to date with technical and legislative changes, sharing insights with the wider Wealth Management team.
Ensure compliance with internal processes and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
QFA Certified (minimum requirement) or an equivalent qualification meeting the Minimum Competency Code of the Central Bank of Ireland.
Part-qualified or fully qualified CFP is an advantage (or working toward the qualification).
Minimum of 3ā5 years' experience in a Paraplanning or Financial Planning support role.
Experience in using Voyant
Strong technical knowledge of Irish retirement planning, investments, and protection products.
Excellent attention to detail, numeracy, and analytical ability.
Ability to simplify complex concepts and communicate clearly with both clients and advisers.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of the Irish financial services landscape and product providers.
